Axiomech: Cosmech Combat - Open Alpha

As our Open Alpha build has now officially been released, we are thrilled to provide you with an update on the progress we have made in expanding the various aspects of our gameloop;

New enemies:

Scorpos - Allies of the Scorpomech, these creatures are harmless to the player, but cause havoc by demolishing structures wherever they decide to nest. The player can use them as target practice near Axiom City.

Ukumari - Allies of the Elementals, they are found deep within the Outlands. Both quick and strong, they can easily overwhelm the player with their melee attacks, approach with caution.

Ice Elementals - Found during missions, these creatures are the only known source of Stellar Cores. Usually guarded by a horde of Ukumari guards, the player should not face them unprepared.

New items:

Salvage - Essentially the damaged components of “deactivated” Cosmechs, morbid as that may sound. It is one of the key ingredients for Cosmech crafting, and can be collected by destroying Rogue Cosmechs in the Outlands territories.

Stellar Cores - Found within the remains of defeated Ice Elementals. Stellar Cores have an astonishing power to breathe life into inanimate objects. Thus, a single Stellar Core is required to craft each new Cosmech.

Cosmechs:

Crew - When creating an account, the player will be met with a Cosmech creation menu, where they are able to customize the appearance of their initial crew. These Cosmechs are purely cosmetic, have no stats and cannot be minted to the blockchain as NFTs.

Crafting - Once a player has collected the necessary materials (Stellar Core, Salvage and Quarks) they can head over to the Workshop in Axiom City to start crafting new Cosmechs. These Cosmechs have stats that will greatly impact future gameplay, and it will be possible to mint them as NFTs on Enjin Matrixchain.

Abilities:

Ability Menu - Also in the Workshop, the player can find an abilities selection menu. All abilities beyond the default will be from cross-platform collaboration, or “multiverse” NFTs.

Steam Cores - From The Etherscape, the Steam Core abilities grant healing to the player and massive area damage on-use.

NFT utility:

The Axiom Loyalty Token has been imbued with a number of benefits across the Axiomech ecosystem, including;

Whitelisting: Wallets holding at least one ALT are whitelisted for Axiom City Beams.

Ability bar: The player receives a +1% charging rate on the ability bar (stacking, max 1000).

Crafting: The player receives a boost to the RNG stats roll when crafting Cosmechs (stacking, max 1000).

Cross-platform: Etherscape players receive a +1% Magic Find & +1% Gold Drop bonus (stacking, max 5).

Discord: Members holding a minimum of 10 ALT in their connected wallet gain the VIP role.
